OUR HISTORY
Our company’s story begins with our President & CEO
Mr. Emin Buzimkic
Mr. Buzimkic entered the Rebar industry in Toronto in 1989. Over the next 11 years he gained priceless field experience working as a placer, foreman and supervisor. During that time, he worked on various complex projects including the Hibernia Gravity Base Structure (GBS) where he mastered site logistics and worked with high congested designs (10X the normal density of rebar). In the next two years he assumed a range of roles that included that of a rebar detailer, estimator, co-ordinator, and project manager. Only after having accumulated such a vast wealth of experience and expertise, Mr. Emin Buzimkic felt that it was time to embark on a journey that would bring Rebar Enterprises Inc. to the forefront of Rebar Engineering and Consulting. Today, our global customers and partners recognize us as the world leading company in this industry.

A message from our CEO and founder
“I have dedicated 30+ years to providing the most innovative and valuable Rebar Design system available. I believe in building full service rebar engineering expertise in placing, constructability, and technical solutions. I have always looked for new and visionary opportunities to meet design challenges and to work within collaborative, integrated teams of designers, special consultants, concrete contractors and construction managers. It has been and is my personal goal to deliver high quality, unique, innovative, and inspirational projects worldwide.
I believe in building a future of environs, contributing to community growth and innovation, providing strength and environmental support and giving back to the community of Structural Design. As a member of a number of technical committees on Standards, Codes, and Practices, I commit my time to leading change and innovation.
