“Delivering accurate and high-quality rebar shop drawings for the waved commercial section was one of the most complex — and rewarding — parts of the project,” explains Project Manager Hassan Kalla of Rebar Enterprises.
Beyond the podium, each tower presented its own detailing challenges. Slab edges and balcony conditions varied from floor to floor, requiring highly customized reinforcement solutions to maintain both consistency and buildability.

“I planned and detailed the reinforcement for each item and floor across all towers, providing timely solutions that met both quality and schedule requirements,” says Kalla.
To address the non-typical slab and balcony layouts, Hassan developed custom functions and macros that automated repetitive work while reducing the risk of error.
